The Childhood Fund

The Childhood Fund is part of the European Union's Special Support Programme for Peace and Reconciliation in Northern Ireland and is managed by NIPPA - The Early Years Organisation.

NIPPA in partnership with the DHSS&PS and the 4 Childcare Partnerships has been successfully recommended as the Independent Funding Body by the Special EU Programmes Body to deliver grant aid of up to £9.1 million from Measure 5 - Investing in Childcare (ESF) and up to £1 million from Measure 8 - Accompanying Infrastructure and Equipment Support under Priority 2 - Social Integration, Inclusion and Reconciliation from the PEACE II Programme (2001 - 2006) through the Childhood Fund.
