The BBC Children in Need Appeal is the most important single event in the BBC calendar and the only occasion when the whole of the BBC joins together in support of a single project on TV, radio and online.

Western Health & Social Services Board - Investing for Health Department

In September 2002 the Western Health & Social Services Board established an Investing for Health Partnership, comprising of 30 members, drawn from the Voluntary, Community, Statutory and Private Sectors.
Community Relations Council
The Community Relations Council was formed in January 1990 to promote better community relations between Protestants and Catholics in Northern Ireland and, equally, to promote recognition of cultural diversity.
The Childhood Fund
The Childhood Fund is part of the European Union's Special Support Programme for Peace and Reconciliation in Northern Ireland and is managed by NIPPA - The Early Years Organisation.
Lloyds TSB Foundation
The Lloyds TSB Foundations are committed to supporting underfunded, grassroots charities that enable people, especially disabled and disadvantaged people, to play a fuller role in society.
EU Programme for Peace & Reconciliation
The EU Programme for Peace and Reconciliation is a unique EU funded programme for all of Northern Ireland and the Border Regions of Ireland (Cavan, Donegal, Leitrim, Louth, Monaghan and Sligo). Its main aim is to promote reconciliation and help to build a more peaceful and stable society.
Western Health & Social Services Board
The Western Board serves a population of over 288,000 people who live in the District Council areas of Limavady, Derry, Fermanagh, Strabane and Omagh. Our role is to identify health and social care needs and to ensure that services are provided to meet these needs.
Foyle Health & Social Services Trust
Foyle Trust is responsible for the provision of a comprehensive range of community health and social care services to over 160,000 people in the council areas of Derry City, Limavady and Strabane.
Northern Local Health & Social Care Group
In July 2002 two Local Health and Social Care Groups (LHSCGs) were formed in the Western Board area. LHSCGs bring together community and service user representatives and health and social care professionals to identify the primary health and social care needs of local communities.
The Ireland Funds

The Ireland Funds is an international charitable organisation operating in 11 countries and has raised over $300 million for worthy causes in Ireland. Over 1,200 non-profit organisations in Ireland have benefited from The Fund’s grants over the last 27 years.
Department of Health, Social Services & Public Safety
The Department’s aims to improve the health and social well-being of the people of Northern Irelandby ensuring the provision of appropriate health and social care services.
It also supports programmes of health promotion and education to encourage the community to adopt activities, behaviours and attitudes which will lead to better health and well-being.
