They will complement existing anti-poverty and T.S.N. strategies but will have a clear Cross Border focus.

The plan will focus on the Five Target Groups, be based on the expressed shared vision for the North West building on the vision for the Target Groups as described in Other Borders:
”For all women, irrespective of age, social class or ethnic background to have equal access to information and opportunities to maintain and enhance their health and well being. Our vision is that all groups of women particularly those most vulnerable to ill health have easy access to high quality health care services. Our vision is to be part of a concentrated effort backed by our politicians which successfully addresses inequalities in health relating to age, ethnicity, social status, gender and where people live.”
The plan will be developed by Leadership Programme participants as part of their Action Based learning. The plans will focus on addressing the causes and effects of social exclusion by identifying actions which could be taken in a Cross Border basis by Network members and others.
