Research programme
In March 2006 we commissioned the Institute of Public Health in Ireland to carry out research to establish:
- the impact of the border and of the conflict on both sides of the border on health
- women’s role, particularly as it impacts on mental health, in our post-conflict society
The Institute of Public Health in Ireland launched the Research Report, "Women Speaking across the Border; The Impact of the Border and the Conflict on women’s health and roles" on 5th February 2008. The Report includes a review of international and global research to ensure that we learn the lessons from other post-conflict societies. To obtain a hard copy of the Report please contact Julie Ward on 02871 360777 or email julie@derrywellwoman.org OR click on the highlighted text for a pdf version of the Report.
