Depression affects the individual physically emotionally and spiritually.  It has a profound effect on self confidence and self belief. Over this 6 week programme the group will explore depression and anxiety the causes and treatments Talk therapies eg CBT and medication and self awareness and self care and possible lifestyle changes to improve mental health We practice mindfulness and meditation

What will the programme be like?

The course will look at the importance of thinking patterns and their link to the ongoing cycle of depressive and anxiety symptoms.

Over this 6 week programme the group will explore depression and anxiety the causes and treatments, early warning signs and positive coping strategies, Talk therapies eg CBT and medication, self awareness and self care and possible lifestyle changes to improve mental health. We practice mindfulness and meditation  We also look at the benefits of complementary therapies and physical health, sleep, eating well and exercise
